Heritage Museum of Montgomery County

The Heritage Museum of Montgomery County Texas is an excellent place for anyone interested in the county’s history. The building is designed to evoke pleasant memories and to inspire the next generation with an appreciation of the area’s heritage. It is a fitting tribute to the pioneers who settled this area and built churches and schools, businesses, as well as industries. The structure was built from a hand-hewn log cottage, which was moved several more times before being donated by Conroe to the city in 1972. Unfortunately, the cabin started to deteriorate and was eventually removed a few decades later. Texas HVAC Company
